+1 to this. Another post 5 years ago mentioned providing per-device rules inside Roon to override the missing capability flag but I’m not sure that plan ever happened?
I have some Harman Kardon Citation 500 speakers that are 24bit/96KHz capable, but Roon downsamples because I’m guessing the Citations don’t report the flag. Now that Roon is part of the Harman family, maybe Roon engineers can bug the Harman Kardon firmware folks to implement the flag correctly as well?
