Good morning, I currently use ROON in my system through a Mac Studio that uses a Mcintosh D100 DAC (roon tested) that goes into my amplifier. I’m just a fellow user and I’m not speaking for Roon.
However, Roon offers certification programs, Roon Tested and Roon Ready. If a manufacturer submits a device, then Roon can test it and verify that it works.
If a manufacturer does not do this, then Roon can’t be expected to know about every USB DAC on the planet and make any guarantees.
