Complete Roon functionality breakdown (ref#6TPF02)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· None of the above quite fits

None of the above quite fits

· None of these quite match

Tell us what's going on

· Nothing is working in Roon. Can't login to Tidal, internet radio not playing, no cover art, no daily playlists. In settings/audio, says it can't even check to see if the latest version of the software is installed.

Tell us about your home network

· I don't know. My network hasn't changed in years

Now I can no longer log into my Roon server (ROCK on Intex NUC). Just says “Logging in” and then nothing happens.

As a troubleshooting step, please try…

  • Reboot your router and any associated network equipment.
  • Wait for it to re establish a connection to the internet.
  • Reboot your NUC running ROCK.

This allowed me to login into Roon and Tidal. Cover art seems to be back as well. But I still can’t see any content when I click on either Tidal or Qobuz. No new album or new tracks selected for me, etc.

Hi @William_Bloom,

Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report! To confirm, is your only issue dealing with new releases and new mix’s from Qobuz/Tidal?

Feel free to share a screenshot.

If your issues are only dealing with new releases, this is a known error that our team is currently working on. Thank you!

Everything seemed ok last night after the network reboot night but now I’m back to square one.

Tidal will not login. Internet radio will not play. Qobuz doesn’t show anything when I click on it.

I don’t get any new albums/tracks, etc. Network rebooted multiple times.

I can play from saved albums (both internal storage and in my library from Qobuz).

I just replaced the Amazon Cat8 network cable running from my mesh wifi node to the NUC with an old Cat5E cable. That seemed to fix everything for now. I have had that cable in use for at least 2 maybe 3 years. Odd.

Hi @William_Bloom ,

Thanks for the update, do let us know if the system still remains stable after further use!

Thanks. System is stable and survived the update to ROCK version 2.61 this morning. I guess higher bandwidth network cables are only better if they aren’t broken!
