Conflict between PC and Nucleus One as Roon servers (ref#OUBUED)

Please - you’ve been told that “searching” in Windows File Explorer is not how you access files and folders on your Nucleus One.

You enter \\nucleusone\ in the address field of Windows File Explorer. Please try that and post a screenshot of what you see then. Thank you.

Roon is running properly now and the library seems to be synced but there are less albums than my initial setup?

The initial indexing of your Watched Folders can take some time after you resync a storage location, restore a Backup, or otherwise rebuild a database.

If you’re still seeing a discrepancy of the numbers, please share a screenshot of the Albums page indicating the incorrect number of albums displayed. Please also share a screenshot of the Watched Folders page in Settings → Storage. Do you see any content in the list of Skipped Files in your Roon Settings → Library page?

I’m not worried about a few missing albums.

Most of my collection is available online now.

I’ve been playing Roon for most of the day.

It will sometimes stop playing and I get this while it tries to reconnect.

Is this an internet issue or something else?

Can you please let us know the exact local time + date when this issue next occurs (or a few attempts if possible)? We’ll enable logging to see if there are any clues during that time-frame.

The most recent crashed occurred:

Thursday, May 29 from 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM PST.

Friday, May 30 from 8:35 AM - 9:20 AM PST.

I’ve uploaded the Nucleus logs.

Hello,

I got through the weekend without any streaming problems.

I did notice that the Background audio analysis speed completed.

Could this have been the issue?

What did the logs reveal?

It’s definitely possible that that was the cause. Your logs aren’t showing any library analysis anymore either. Hopefully this improved performance continues but let know if it returns.
