Description of Issue

Hello,
I am trying to connect my ROON CORE (Synology DSM7) to the network share of my MELCO (Firmware 3.93).

But I immediately get an error message.

I try both \melco\share and smb://melco/share.

On my Mac I have no problems connecting to the MELCO share (user/password nobody/nobody).

Does anyone have a hint?

Hi Klaus,

I am using DSM 7 with my Melco.

In File Station, I have created a Remote Folder mount under “Network shares”.
File protocol: cifs
Folder: \my-melco-ip\share
Mount to: /volume1/Network shares/Melco

In the Roon Docker container configuration under “Volume Settings”, I have added a Folder
File/Folder: /Network shares/Melco
Mount path: /music
