Connection blocked on Ubuntu Server

Dear Support

First of all my configuration:
Roon Server is running on a TrueNAS 12.0-U8.1 in a Ubuntu Server 22.04.3 Virtual Machine

I was able to finish the installation, meaning I do have a roonserver running and this seems to be ok according to the thread “ubuntu-roon-install-tips”.

Now I have the following issue:
When the VM is started, I am able to connect to the Roon Server via Roon Remote on any device. Also it is possible to configure it an play some tracks.
After a short time tough it seems that ubuntu blocks traffic to everything external such as TIDAL/Qobuz or even a shared Drive with my music lib.
I can browse within roon and reconfigure anything as well as importing tracks from the shared drive, but not play any track from any source

I did try to configure the ufw without any success.

Do you have a hint where to look on it?

thanks for helping me!

edit: i also tried the same on ubuntu desktop with same results

I’ve moved your post to #tinkering since VMs aren’t officially supported and you’re more likely to receive community assistance here.

I suggest to take a look at the logs (/var/roon/RoonServer/Logs) and also look at the following.

Additionally, more details about your setup would be helpful.
