Describe the issue

I can no longer connect to roon. My core is a wyred4sound ms1 and was working perfectly until it just stopped. I checked the MS1 by connecting it directly to my modem, and all my files are visible and intact. I’m pretty sure I didn’t do anything to cause this problem, but I’m an old guy and this stuff is complicated for me. On my iPhone, it thinks my core is my miniMac, which it shouldn’t. On my miniMac, it thinks my core is my MS1.

Describe your network setup

I use an AT&T supplied modem and I added a new wifi extender to see of that made any difference. It didn’t. Nothing else changed, unless some “update” on roon has caused a problem. Please; I have a lifetime membership and am recovering from hip surgery, and I really need my music.

Hi @Russell_Reising,
Thanks for writing in to ask us about this issue. I activated diagnostics on your account. I can see that your MS1 hasn’t been online in 4 days. Since you have two servers the problem maybe that you have the wrong one authorized. Access the Roon settings for your MS1 server and go to the general settings page. Look for a box at the top that looks like this.

Click disconnect then you should be able to choose to use that computer as a server. If you have any more issues after that please let us know!

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately I can’t access the page you were talking about. When I try to log in to roon , I get this screen:

I also can’t access my room server, my wyred4sound ms1, Unless I have it wired directly to my modem! This is really a mess, and I really need your help
