A couple of days ago I sent a help request as I am no longer able to connect to my Roon Nucleus from my Google Pixel 7 Mobile phone.
I am however able to connect from my Macbook Pro. But yesterday (21 of June) the Roon app began consuming a huge amount of energy and depletes my battery with alarming speed. In addition, I am trying to play music from Tidal. In the example below, I entered Cole Porter and then selected Discography and I am getting the following message: Discography unavailable. Make sure your storage device is connected or check your internet connection and streaming service setting.
However, I can then enter a Cole Porter album in the Roon App search bar. The search finds the album and I can stream it. In fact, I can stream any old album or stream radio:
Describe your network setup
Netgear, Nighthawk, RAX200. I have an ethernet connection from the nucleus to the router
Thanks for reaching out. I’ve tenabled diagnostics for your Android device, can you please open the Roon app on it, leave it open for a few minutes (2-3 min), and let us know here afterwards? We’ll check to see if the log set comes in. Thank you.
We’ve taken a close look at the diagnostics that reached our servers last week. Logs show the Roon app failing to retain a handshake with the broker; there are broader failures with network discovery, particularly after the phone wakes up.
