Connectivity issues with bluesound soundbar [Resolved]

I I have bluesound suondbar right next to the cable router and modem and it keeps starting and stopping music play…the soundbar plays fine when connected to the tv for tv sound

the soundbar is connected to the tv through a toslink connection…i wonder if this is the issue

Have you tried disabling Auto Sense for the optical input in settings/player/optical input

where do I find that…I cannot find a path in roon for settings/player etc

Thank you…when I do this will it stop the soundbar from working on my tv

Hi David,
you need to “switch” to optical input for TV with your remote. On our Node 2 I “linked” the TV remote function “mute” to optical in becase this mutes the TV itselfe and enables our sound system for TV.
I have no soundbar, but I asume it has also a function to learn external remote commands - hopefully.
