Constant 'waiting for your Roon server' error and high CPU usage on PC (ref#SKNLTT)

I have recently canceled my Roon subscription.

I had endless issues with “waiting for your roon server” using my up to date iPad as the remote.

Song would play for a few seconds and then stop with this error message, over and over. Never had this with issue with Roon when I first got it. On top of this my PC processor/fans would work overtime all night long doing god knows what with Roon maxing out the processor (was not streaming any music).

I really like Roon but these issues are show stoppers for me. I have no problem streaming music and video on other platforms like Plex, Netflix, Audirvana, Prime etc. etc.

The Roon software has to get out of its own way and just serve up music full stop. Feels like it is trying to do way to much other ■■ in the background. Rant over.
