Description Of Issue
How do I copy my Music Database from my iMac harddrive just 300 MB to the Nucleus intern SSD.

Connecting Mac and Nucleus with USB does not work. The Mac does not recognize Nucleus and does not show in the Finder.

300 GB about 400 CDs in WAV format

This describes “watching” and not physically coping the music on the NUCLEUS SSD. When the iMac is turned off (bedroom) then music is also off :-(.

Yes it does.
Once the nucleus drive is visible copy the files over the network.

Copying Music to the Drive

You can copy music to this drive by visiting the network share:

From a Windows PC, enter this into the address field of the Windows File Explorer:

\\NUCLEUS\Data\Storage\InternalStorage

From a Mac, enter this into the address field of the Mac Finder:

smb://NUCLEUS/Data/Storage/InternalStorage

Be sure to replace NUCLEUS with NUCLEUSPLUS if you have a Nucleus+

If asked for a username and password, use Guest for both.

Done and Mac acknowledged Roon Nucleus …(18 m flying ethernet wiring through our apartment :-).

In which folder do I copy the Music Library, “DATA/STORAGE/INTERNAL STORAGE” ?

Copy your music files and folders into the InternalStorage folder.

You’re welcome.
