Just a heads up to bring light to this bug. Creating a new profile set all the play counts from my original profile to zero and the plays were restored once I deleted the new profile.
I suspect you had switched to the new profile, which is why the counts were zero, and then returned to the other profile after deleting the other.
After testing on the latest version, I confirm that profiles work as expected.
Oh I hadn’t thought of that. Wouldn’t a new profile be empty, with no albums?
Profiles share the library, but have separate play history, tags, and bookmarks etc.
