Crossfade works very nice as I have seen, to wipe out blank ends (and beginnings) of songs.
It would be great to have a crossfade time of e.g. 0.1 sec or skip blanks to choose from. Actually I would suggest e.g. skip blank, 0.3, 0.6, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 sec to choose from rather then 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 sec.
As well I like to mention the thread about “turn off crossfade for albums” setting
