I am attempting to create a custom album of mp3s recorded from the radio. Each week a new track would be added to the album.
I’m adding the tracks to the same folder, they’re found, but I’m having trouble keeping them associated in the same custom album.
e.g Starting with two tracks, I can group them (Group tracks) into a single new album. I’m able to edit the album with a custom artist (DJ’s name), title (show name), and artwork. However, I’m not able to add additional tracks to this same album.
Specifically when trying to add a third track, if I use Group Tracks again on all three tracks, a whole new album is created and I lose my custom edits (artist/name/artwork). Furthermore, upon grouping the three tracks, Roon shows four tracks with incorrectly parsed names (hyphen problem?). Track two shows a time that is the combination of two tracks.
In summary:
- Is it possible to associate a new track with an existing Unidentified album?
- What’s up with the parsing of the three tracks?
Thanks!

I’ve tried manually editing the file’s metadata before copying to the storage folder. That seems to make no difference and I really want to manually edit the tracks in Roon anyway.
