I’ve been on the search for a dac/pre (analog) with remote volume control, DSD256 minimum and Roon Ready. I’m still surprised that there isn’t an all in box that’s < $3k. Oppo Sonica and Teac NT-503 seem to be the perfect platform to make it happen but they failed.
So I must ask, why does such product not exist? Whoever does this I’m convinced will hit a home run.
