I haven't used Roon with my two DACS for about 6 months. Now when I turn everything on Roon does not show the two DACS. I go to the Audio tab under settings and they do not show at all. How do I reconnect them. I have Roon on my Macbook and I can play music from the Macbook, so Roon itself is working with Tidal as my music streaming service. My Dacs are Matrix and Bricasti M3.
Please let us know if you require anything further after trying the steps above.
If you’re using a MacOS Sequoia version preceding 15.7, then you’ll need to toggle the Privacy & Security → Local network setting after each Roon update and sometimes even after a restart. Sequoia’s security is particularly sensitive to RAAT’s requests for local network access, and tends to sever Roon’s device discovery (even severing output on the Mac itself). The later versions of Sequoia (and Tahoe) are more calibrated to RAAT and don’t tend to have this problem as frequently.
