Daily Picks has too many albums

The concept of Daily Picks is superb.

5 selections of albums based on different artist but similar genre per section.

My only thoughts here are that there are too many albums in each section.

The first for me has a single album, not sure if that’s correct.

The other four have 30 albums.

A total of 121 albums for a daily feature. Maybe consider reducing this to a maximum of 6 per section.

I presume these change daily as the name suggests.

Which ones get to stay, and which ones get dropped?

I just skim them quickly. Would hate to miss some good ones. But I get the point.

I like the amount of selections given.

@DDPS Sorry, I just don’t see the point of your post :man_shrugging:

Goldilocks. 3 bears.

That’s perfectly cool to have a different opinion :+1:

I just checked mine again as it’s a different day. They’ve changed as I thought they would.

Because I recently played 18 Months by Calvin Harris I get suggestions like Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake. Two artists I have no intention of listening to, ever.

Out of the 30 there are 2 albums and 2 singles by Calvin Harris.

Another suggests I play The Rolling Stones because I recently played The Rolling Stones , should it not suggest something different :man_shrugging:

Two of the others are suggestions based on heavy metal albums I played recently. All the suggested albums in each are albums I play fairly heavily throughout each year and nothing new.

The last section says I played an electronic album recently, but I haven’t and suggests a fair amount of completely unknown stuff (which is good). 6 of the offerings are by the same artist. 3 are by the same artist it claims I listened to recently. An EP, and several compilations.

My feedback based on this is poor.

If you start playing the first album in a daily pick with multiple albums in it, after the first album is done does the second one starts, kinda like a playlist, or not?

TBH I have no idea. I haven’t actually used the feature because this far all recommendations for some are regular listened to albums for me and there have been several times it says I’ve played an album when I haven’t.

Example:
Says I played

I haven’t. I only added it to my library today.

Another, says I’ve played

But actually

So I think something is broken here.
