Description of Issue
For starters when I go into each IP address it shows that each of my components is working. The only issue I see and this is NEW and that is my LUXUL router is not identifying the Synology DS918+ NAS.
Was working perfectly until I went to switch out an Ethernet cord on my Nucleus + for a much better Ethernet cord when the system would not recognize any of my audio output devices.
Went into the IP addresses of all my items mentioned above. I have rebooted everything. Switched out cables, powered up and down, etc. Below is a pic of my IP for my Nucleus +
Synology DS918+
LUXUL ABR-5000 EPIC 5 Router
LUXUL 26 port Gigabit switch XMS 2624P
Ruckus Zone Director 1200 with 2 WAP’s
Service is Comcast

Description of Issue
When I turn on my tablet I get both of these options. If I select the MacBook Pro I get access and it works. If I select the Nucleus+ I get the following screen with only the logo spooling and it does not work, won’t recognize any of my audio output devices.
Be aware the so call “audiophile” ethernet cables don’t always conform the ethernet Cat standards.
What cable are you now using?
As a troubleshooting step, have you tried, reinstalling the previous cable?
Have you done this?
(This should include your Nucleus, Network Router, any other network equipment and your audio equipment.)
Your tablet, is seeing two Roon Cores (one on the Mac and one on the Nucleus).
Whilst troubleshooting the Nucleus, I would recommend shutting down the Roon Core on the Mac.
From the Nucleus’ Web Admin screen shot all looks well, but a reboot it always the first port of call when troubleshooting.
I have rebooted everything and the old cord has been placed back in the switchbox. It is sending out the IP address to the network and it is a static IP. I have disconnected/logged out of Roon on my Mac Book Pro.
Here is a pic of my path that was set up for me to operate Roon through the Mac Book Pro.
I did have Luxul, my router and switch company make sure everything was connected properly on from their perspective. They made some changes to make it run smoother and faster and everything seems to be working flawlessly on every device.
Thanks for your patience while we work through each thread
I was able to take a look into your account and found signs of a potential falling SSD on your nucleus. For next steps, I will follow up via PM. Please keep an eye out for a message from me.
