I try to tune into any of the Danmarks Radio stations listed within Roon, but all fail to play. If I try adding in a direct URL like “https://drliveradio1.akamaized.net/hls/live/2097651/p6beat/masterab.m3u8” Roon simply just direct me to the prior curated station settings. How do I circumvent this or who can update the curated URLs?
Hello @Thomas_Holm2 , there seems to be two issues here.
Firstly, all Danish stations play for me.
What are you running Roon on - is it a NAS by any chance? There may be codec issues if so.
Secondly, there is a known issue with the .m3u8 Danish streams, see
amd so those are currently hidden
No that’s rubbish -.the NAS problems don’t affect MP3 streams.
More likely is you have a NUC. They need ffmpeg to be loaded, see
Danish Radio P1 plays fine for me. Oh no, not fine, as since august or september last year the stream randomly stops (which makes it almost useless when listening to talk radio).

I’m a bit puzzled here. My playback chain is Android being remote. NUC being core and playback on Apple HomePod. All on same wifi.
Dinamo Caffe plays super staple hours on end:
But selecting any on the DR P6 streams will not even start.
Both DR P6 and Dinamo are MP3, so that rules out an MP3 issue.
Any actionable suggestions to fix my system?

So you can’t play these streams outside of Roon?
I don’t believe there is any geo-restriction on these streams, but I can check - where are you?

I am able to start playback of 25 Danmarks Radio stations in Roon without issue using Roon’s Mac client and server software. I am sorry you are having trouble playing these stations and that I cannot be more helpful to you.
