Denon DNP-2000NE - Roon ready?

I noticed in one of the initial reviews that the new Denon DNP-2000NE is Roon Ready. As a Roon fan with a bunch of Denon gear, my hope is that this may provide a pathway to go beyond Apple Airplay and get the best possible audio quality and all that Roon offers.

Anyone else know any more about this?

It is Roon Tested, not Roon Ready. Works by using Airplay, not RAAT.

Denon usually uses HEOS for streaming, with Roon conspicuously absent. I’ve not heard anything different with this product. The Denon site doesn’t mention Roon.

I was afraid of this when I read the review. Roon tested and Roon ready seem to get confused by reviewers. Too bad, but than you for clarifying this before I invested.

The N. American spec sheet has “Roon Certificaton: Yes”…That only mean Roon Tested?
It is funny that Certification is spelled wrong in the pdf.

I just purchased one of these. Definitely not “roon ready” but works very well with RHEOS and sounds great in my set up.

Hello !
It’s been a while since you asked ,but because I’m also interested in and also curious , i recently saw in the official roon page and they said that it is Roon Ready !!!
I hope it’s not a mistake (that’s rarely happening ), but in the Denon’s site it’s not mentioned, at least on EU site…

Mine is working well as ROON ready.

Update your firmware and the Heos App and it should appear in ROON ready devices.

I can also affirm; it is Roon ready now. No more airplay. Update firmware & heos app and you are done

Wow.That’s great news :newspaper: !

Nice! What do you think about the sound quality (normally ,would be above all other methods , is it true )?
Thanks

Sound improves over airplay. But it’s not a world of difference
