Thanks @mike for setting this up! Hello out there to all others who use DEQX as a Roon endpoint. I don’t know about you all, but I find using Roon’s volume control a god-send, because controlling volume on the DEQX via the front panel or the remote, provides too few volume step adjustments. Of course, controlling the volume within Roon offers 100 steps which is the gold standard to me. But wait…how is this happening? I figured the volume steps were dictated by the hardware of the component itself. Is the volume adjustment being implemented by Roon DSP now? I haven’t noticed any sound quality difference.
