I certainly hope that Devialet Chat does return. I have not posted much there for a while, but I remain the top poster on the site. (@Confused) I was hoping that in time someone would eventually overtake my post count, but no chance of that if the site has gone…
I have always thought that it was a friendly and helpful forum, anyone posting with some kind of Devialet related issue (of which there have been many) usually received timely and useful advice, the site was a very useful resource.
It also served as a conduit for much Devialet related whinging, which was nice.
I for one would be very sorry to see it go. Here’s hoping that the info above regarding the site’s return proves to be accurate.

I remember being in the main store in Paris in October 2017 and they told me they were working on a whole new software platform. Up to that point I seem to remember mostly using UPnP. Roon Ready status made the whole software development redundant, so there wasn’t much left to complain about and I don’t think there were any software updates until I stopped using my 250 Expert in early 2022. Devialet were probably the most reliable and no nonsense products that really don’t bear much discussion. My wife uses her Reactor every day.
Yeah, totally my experience too. My 440 pro’s never let me down, I bought a Roon lifetime in 2017, $500, then £360 and never had any serious issues.

Wow great to hear you are @Confused from Devialetchat! I have been contributing there over so many years - and like many Devialet users hope it get’s back with all those valuable information. Keep us updated, or if you need any help.

Nothing is free and we understand, hence the thought of having a small subscription to pay by each member and we can have that very valuable website back.

Happy to pay to keep it going. In fact, at some stage, I remember we did a collection.
Another Devialetchat member here (mbd). I posted a little bit there, but also gained lots of helpful info from the site.
I tried to email the owner of the website that was showing up when going to devialetchat.com a few weeks ago, in case they had any information, but had no response.
I am happy to contribute some of my time/expertise with a background in Internet services, if that’s what’s holding back a relaunch of the site.

Still no progress on reviving the website?
The [ DevialetChat ] site was a wonderful and very useful resource for us Devialet Expert owners and its a great shame it’s gone. I had proposed that if anyone willing to bring it back, we’ll be happy to go in for a cost-sharing scheme to cover the expenses involved yet we haven’t received any feedback.
I’m wondering if any stalwarts can come forward to help us revive the site. Unfortunately, I am challenged to do so as I don’t come from an IT background.
Member’s thoughts on this will be appreciated.
