Describe the issue

I have over half a million tracks in my library. Maybe we can help each other out.
I'm going to be upgrading my set up in the coming months and I think I might be a good test case for your team due to my very large music library. Before I buy my new RAID and possible M4 Mac Mini I'd like to connect with your team to help insure we can together make progress with how to deal with extremely large libraries in the best way possible. Currently as you may recall, I'm unable to use Roon Remote, for example due to the size of my library. Also I occasionally run into delays on Roon remote due to the size and possible multiple locations of my music files. Since I'm about to buy new storage (32->24TB SSD RAID), I may be in an excellent position to have current and new instance of Roon, where we could experiment with best practices for me and other users of Roon with gigantic libraries. Let me know if you'd like to discuss further. I think a might be a good test case for you and would like to be in touch before I purchase the new storage and possible computer.

Describe your network setup

mixed HDD RAID and SSD drives attached to i9 iMac with 1gbs fiber internet through router's 2.5gbs ethernet connection. Latest softwares.

Most companies don’t work that way for several reasons.

Wow, at 4 mins per track listening 16 hours every day it’d take almost 6 years to listen to all your tracks - without repeating any of them

Roon is known to work with libraries of over 1,000,000 tracks, and one community member recently built a new PC for this; it’s discussed in the forum.

You could reach out to Roon for advice on the choice of PC, processor and memory, which is probably most important here, along with simplicity and local storage.

If you currently have issues, sort them out before upgrading hardware. Otherwise, your choices may be influenced by problems that shouldn’t be there.
