Discrepancy in Tidal Liked Tracks and Roon Library (ref#Q8A4UY)

There is a huge discrepancy between my liked tracks in Tidal (1727 tracks) and the ones that are displayed in My Library -> Tracks in Roon (254 tracks). I have manually resynchronized, logged out and back in to Tidal, disabled and re-enabled Tidal all with the same results. I've heard there are licensing issues with offline content in Tidal, but a difference of 1473 tracks seems excessive for that. What am I missing?

Thank you for your report, and we’re sorry to hear you’re affected by a recent synchronization outage between Tidal and Roon.

The team is in the final process of releasing a fix for this issue. This fix is currently undergoing testing in our Early Access branch and will be released in an upcoming Roon update.

If you’d like to test the fix to relieve the problem in the meantime, please follow this guide to migrate your Roon devices to the Early Access testing branch.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Any guesses how long it takes for early access updates to become regular updates/bug fixes?

Discussed in the linked thread, two posts down from the official post I linked to. (Sadly, some users tried it - see the end of the other thread - and results seem inconsistent, so I guess it might not be super quick. There was already a fix attempt in the previous production update that at least didn’t fix it completely / for everyone, so this doesn’t seem to be an easy problem).

The timeframe can typically range from a few days to a week between Early Release updates and Production updates. That said, @Suedkiez is correct with the above - this has been a tricky issue to diagnose and fix. We’re still fielding results from users, so it’s difficult to know if the issue has been resolved or not yet.

The latest Roon update contains a fix fo the issue you’ve reported. Please update all your Roon devices to Build 1544. See here for more information:
