Display cover art as spinning record

Would be cool if Roon had the option to graphically display the currently playing album cover as vinyl spinning like Tidal does.

Even a basic spectrum vis would be a welcome addition!

I actually really hate the spinning album cover in Tidal, because it makes no sense. A spinning record never looks like that. So I’m curious why you find that appealing.

Agreed on the spectrum vis (or visualizers in general), that could be neat as an option.

Music visualization kludge

I have noticed that, from time to time, someone makes a feature request to have music visualization incorporated into Roon. While this might be against Roon’s mission statement, sometimes one just wants something pretty to look at. (.Y.) The following is the kludgey way I have accomplished that. You will need - A software package from SoundSpectrum. They have a couple of visualizers. I use the Whitecap package. The software is full of customization options, a real tweakers delite. One…

Roon does however need a cool and useful Screensaver. Don’t tell me it already has one, because it doesn’t.
