Some albums not playing properly. Sounds has distortion and sounds robotic
I have the Roon software installed on a dedicated computer core. My streamer (roon end point )is a silent angel M1T.
Sounds like you are clipping.
Can you post a screenshot of your signal chain when playing?
You might have to much gain or who knows what going on in the signal path.
If you see a red indicator on or going on/ off it’s definitely clipping.
Only if headroom management is enabled. (This should be changed IMO)
Until we can see a signal path screenshot we have no idea yet just what is enabled or not…lol.
But yes it should be on permanently I agree.

So it must have been clipping somewhere in the signal chain.
