Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report!
Before anything else, please reboot all the devices in your setup. Then, remove the Roon mobile app on your phone and perform a fresh download.
I’d also test out differnet cables / ports if possible.
If the error persists after the steps above, try these adjustments within Roon:
Max Sample Rate-Limit to 24/192 or 16/44Reduces the bandwidth requirements if the network is struggling.
Resync Delay- increase to 500ms+Gives the DAC more time to “lock” onto a new signal before the server floods the buffer.
Buffer Size - Increase (if available) Located in the Device Setup; helps bridge minor network gaps.

I reboot ps audio , computer and NUC
I replaced cables between psaudio and amplifier: no difference, still very distorted.
I limited the sample rate + I changed to 500 ms; It does not have any effect. Still Sounds distored.
If playing vinyl: no Problems.
Streaming from Roon to sonos: no problems
The Problem seems to be Roon / psaudio.
I read firmware psaudio 3.6.86 gives problems?
Have you contacted PS Audio customer support then to get their opinion?
I checked and found this firmware already used for several years. It is the most recent, but not very new firmware. So in my opinion that can not cause the problem
I used laptop as source (via USB connecting with PS Audio) and sound was still distored. According to local dealer de DAC is not working. So I give it to the dealer to fix this.
