We have purchased a vacation home and will be installing a ROON based system there as well. I have one subscription but two Nucleuses ,one at each location but only using one system at a time . Do I need two subscriptions?
Check out this thread. I do it with no problems with one subscription.

No - you just need the one. We have two NUCs running ROCK. One at home, the other at our weekend apartment. It’s simple to switch between the two.
