· I replaced a failed Nucleus Plus with a Nucleus Titan and all my downloads in Arc on my phone are gone. How can I get them back. I don't want to have to download my entire library to my phone again because that process is broken.

@Suedkiez Thank you for the explaination. This is extremely unfortunate as, in the past, the download feature is a mess and crashes. It takes me days of constantly starting the downloads and then checking and restarting the app because it crashed. I really wish the Android app got more attention. I know everyone loves Apple and all, but it needs some serious work. Anyway, I digress. Thanks again.
Actually the background downloads are slower on iOS because of Apple‘s aggressive resource management. Try going to the Android settings für ARC and turn off background battery management (which you can’t do on iOS).
Haven’t had crashes on iOS nor previously on Android, so maybe this is something to investigate for official support.
Thank you for your response. This is truly a great community.
I have ~750 albums (~8,300 tracks), so not a huge library.
I am happy to report that the downloading process has improved markedly since the last time I had to do this. I still have to baby-sit it, but I have only noticed a couple of times where the downloading stopped and I had to restart it. I can tell when this happens because the counter starts at 1 again. But I can live with it. Kudos to the Arc team for making such a big improvement. I don’t even have to manually select them one by one any longer. I can just go the albums and download them all with one click. Very cool!
Wish me luck in telling my wife I spent $4K on a music server. She wouldn’t understand. lol
We’re thrilled to hear that downloading has improved.
The team recognizes how much of a hurdle it is to redownload everything just because you move your server or restore a Backup. There’s work in the pipeline to improve this in future releases of ARC.
