hello, I’m using an Eversolo DMP-A8 to a Luxman D10X SACD player/DAC. For some reason anything over DSD 256 is down converted. Max sample rate as seen below only goes up to DSD 256.

The fact that the Eversolo can output 512 over USB doesn’t mean that it can accept 512 as a network stream
You have to discuss this with Eversolo. Roon sends what the endpoints signals (self-declares) to support. Maybe the Eversolo simply has no driver to support higher PCM/DSD sampling rates for your DAC? Maybe they decided to cut Roon RAAT implementation at those sampling rates (for reasons unknown)?

Thanks for reaching out to the Roon Labs Technical Support team. @BlackJack is correct. Roon will send audio in the format that the endpoint reports it can receive. If the endpoint advertises specific capabilities, Roon will follow that information when sending the stream.
