When I switch to Chord Poly/Mojo2, there is no problem so I suppose it’s a handshake issue between roon rock and PSA AirLens? I went through possible settings but no luck. The AirLens dip is all up position, connected with I2S to the PSA DirectStream DACII

  1. How the PS Audio AirLens is connected to Roon
  • Is it enabled and selected as a Roon Ready device in Roon → Settings → Audio?
  1. Please also share a screenshot of the AirLens device settings in Roon
    (Settings → Audio → PS Audio AirLens → Device Setup, including the advanced options if available).

This will help us confirm what format Roon is sending to the AirLens and whether any conversion or limitations are being applied.

From what we can see, the configuration in Roon looks valid:

  • The PS Audio AirLens is correctly identified as a Roon Ready device
  • DSD playback is enabled up to DSD256
  • The signal path shows lossless playback with no obvious conversion or processing applied

At this point, nothing in the settings stands out as incorrect or misconfigured.

To better understand the issue you’re experiencing, could you please clarify a bit more about the problem itself?

Specifically:

  • What exactly happens during the problematic playback? (e.g. playback stops, skips tracks, drops audio, fails to advance, etc.)
  • Does the issue occur consistently, or only intermittently?
  • Is it limited to DSD content, or have you noticed it with PCM as well?

If possible, please also provide:

  • An approximate date and time (timestamp) when the issue last occurred
  • Whether it happened during single-track playback or album playback

With that information, we can correlate what you’re seeing with diagnostic data from the Roon Server and advise on next steps.

Hi, yesterday I reset network chain incl. switch and airlens, reset the Roon Database & Settings and built the music library from scratch and now it works! Thanks
