Macintosh MA9000 connect via USB with Roon Nucleus

Description Of Issue

I have several albums in DSD256. However, Roon down-sizes the files to DSD128, although the MA9000 accepts DSD256. The down-sizing works well, but I expect higher sound quality with DSD256. I cannot find any option in the system preferences to play native DSD256. Attached you will find 2 screen shots detailing my settings.

Not sure but it might not do 256 on the Linux in the nucleus. 256 might only be available on Mac, windows.
The manual only mentions Mac and Windows.

You have DoP selected for DSD replay.
To my knowledge DoP only supports upto DSD128
Dirk

You can get 256 but the dac has to be capable of 768 pcm.
Here’s another thread with Macintosh DSD information

Thanks a lot for all the comments and advices. Overall, it seems that I will have to continue with DSD128.
