DSF files DSD 11.2896 and DSD 2.8224 not appearing in Roon (ref#JBFV5Q)

Describe the issue

Certain DSF Files Don't Appear in Roon. One album is DSD 11.2896 and the other is DSD 2.8224. I am wondering if Roon cannot see .dsf files of these types.

Describe your network setup

My music files are in Roon on a Windows 11 laptop. I play my music using an iFi Stream connected to a McIntosh stereo. My network is an Archer wifi 7 system by TP-Link. The iFi Stream is connected to the router via Ethernet.

I have a some DSF format files, DSD 64/256/512. That are in my Roon Library.

Not sure what could be different about the files you have there.

Have you checked the skipped option; Maybe they have not been recognized.

Also you will check the duplicates filter. Maybe you already own them and they have been merged with the other ones.

Also if you browse through the folders can you see them? A few years ago I met a similar problem with the folder names. They had a weird unicode symbol and the program couldn’t read it.

Make sure those files are not DST compressed (compression sometimes used with DFF files) - Roon do not recognize DST-compressed files.

Thanks for writing in, it’s good to see you on the community again! We’d be happy to take a closer look - I don’t see any specific track names linked to the issues you’re having. Would you mind sharing a few? That way, we’ll be able to pinpoint any error messages from your Roon Server diagnostic report.
