DSP upsampling to 2go is capped at 384, why not 768?

Description of Issue

My 2go endpoint (its hooked up to Hugo2) is capped at 384 when doing DSP PCM upsampling. Even the device setup advanced settings doesn’t show a 768 as drop-down. Is there a reason why it isnt there? I have it wired, not wireless.

Hello @Andreas_Hahn, Your findings are correct, the Chord 2Go has a maximum sample rate of 384kHz. It’s worth mentioning that Chord recommends against the use of external upsampling with Hugo2. As always with these sorts of things, your millage may vary. -John

Yeah, I saw that, too. But, it still doesn’t make sense to me since I am using wired connection and there is no bandwidth issue. I suppose Roon can’t detect that the endpoint is wired or not so it is capping it at 384 regardless. That’s too bad. I guess I will use my Roopiee to output to the Hugo2 instead.
