· When I select albums; which I believe is my whole library of my own albums plus Anything added from Qobuz; I’m getting a lot of duplicates, primarily from my own music sourced from a removable usb hard drive

Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report!

From a fresh diagnostic Roon Server report, we can confirm the likely cause of your issue: your duplicates are coming from overlapping storage locations, Roon Server is watching the same files on your One Touch USB drive through two different paths at once.

It appears that the “Music Folder” backend is indexing tracks with paths like

 DSD/2xHD - Audiophile Speaker Set-Up (DSD)/...

meaning the Default Music Folder contains the very same /DSD, /FLAC, and /MP3 subfolders that you also added individually as watched folders from the One Touch drive.

So every track in those three subfolders gets scanned twice: once under “Music Folder” and once under its dedicated /FLAC, /DSD, or /MP3 location.

In the case that there are actually different tracks alongside this setup, let’s first see if disabling:

Roon Settings > General > Show hidden tracks and albums

hides the duplicates you’re seeing. If not, see if disabling the duplicated watched folders helps.

Disabling those settings as suggested seem to do the trick.

FYI : I’d since noticed that the Album Library on the device running the RoonServer ( a headless MacMini) was OK; the problem was with an iMac I was using primarily listening device.
