After reading some rave reviews about that portable DAC and buying it, I have experienced nothing but trouble with the Sparrow on Macs. Though I had initially thought it was Roon’s issue, I’ve found it crashes with both Roon and Audirvana regardless of whether it is connected to my core or my iMac.
Sometimes it just stops playing, only to work again after a few minutes - in other times, it COMPLETELY crashes my Mac, causing kernel panics and random restarts.
By reading the crash logs, it has something to do with CoreAudio - OTOH, using it with iDevices poses no issues. My OS is Mojave - has anyone else faced the same issues?
