I got to listen to the Empire streamer twice today, once for headphones at the head-fi table and once in Mytek’s demo with their new GaNFET monoblock amps. It sounded very very good.
I then got an opportunity to listen to Michal describe the inner workings of the Empire and it is a fascinating device. I had and still have a ton of questions about it.
