ERREUR INATTENDUE ROON ARC / Unexpected Error Roon ARC

Bonjour a tous,

Merci

Hello everyone,
I’ve installed Roon Core on an Intel NUC, with wired networking.
I opened the 55000 port on the modem and everything works.
However, when I listen to music via Carplay in my car via Roon Arc, I sometimes get an error message and the playback stops.
Do you have a solution to this problem?
Thanks

Hi @Vito_Leone,
Thanks for reaching out to us about this issue. You mentioned an error message when the playback stops. Can you share that message with us? Additionally can you tell us the model of the head unit you are using or if it came with your car the make and model of it.

Also if you could reproduce the issue and let us know the date and time when it happened that would be helpful as well.

Hello Daniel,
I try to change to 55002 ans for now Roon arc Works perfectly.

But now I have another problem with metadata:

Hey @Vito_Leone,

That’s excellent news!

If you safely reboot your Roon Server, do you experience the same error?

Hey Benjamin,
I try to restart Roon core , but nothing change

Hi @Vito_Leone ,

How is your Roon Server connected to the network, is it directly connected via Ethernet to the router? What is the model/manufacturer of the router? Do you have any VPNs active or blocking software when the issue occurs?

Hi,
The Roon core is on my Intel Nuc with Roon Rock, connected on ethernet on my modem Technicolor.
I don’t have vpn or other softwares in my Nuc or Modem.

Hi @Vito_Leone,

In the Technicolor router, please try disabling IPv6 entirely and defaulting to IPv4.

Please share a screenshot of the RoonOS Web Administration Page for your ROCK at your convenience to help expedite our investigation.

Do you encounter any other symptoms of poor network connectivity in the Roon app itself?

Hi Connor,

The modem is already in ipv4.
For now I don’t have trouble with Roon Arc.
Just the metadata base…
I make a screenshot of Roon

Hey @Vito_Leone,

Thanks for the follow-up! Based on your screenshot, it looks like you have some missing codecs within your Nucleus.

Let me know if the troubleshooting steps listed below help:

Hello,
I just added the codex ffmeg, And nothing trouble or message.
Everything it’s ok , thank you for your help.

Best regards ,

Vito.
