Error mapping network drive on Nucleus Titan after 4TB HDD installation (ref#0G0QOK)

· I installed a 4 TB hard drive in my Nucleus Titan & then followed the instructions to enable mapping/accessing the internal drive - encountered the error message re unauthorized guest access so I used the editor to enable insecure guest logins under the Lanman workstation - FYI there is no longer a separate SMB Client line under Network (or at least I couldn't find it.

I am on Windows 11 Pro 25H2 & the storage tab in Roon says it's watching for new files. Drag & Drop works but I have 8400+ albums!
When i tried to map the drive I get the following error: "The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has occurred: An extended error has occurred" Appreciate your help solving.

Thanks for reaching out. Based on your description, it looks like Windows is blocking access to the Nucleus/ROCK internal storage due to its security settings regarding “Guest” access.

This is a common behavior in recent Windows updates (10/11), where the system automatically blocks network shares that don’t require a password. Since Nucleus is designed to be accessible without a password for convenience, Windows essentially puts up a barrier.

Thanks - the key instruction missing was to" Disable the SMB client signing requirement" instruction which worked - you should update the instruction on the Nucleus Internal Storage page (https://help.roonlabs.com/portal/en/kb/articles/nucleus-internal-storage#Method_1_Copy_Music_Over_the_Network_Recommended) to cover this.
