I'm having an additional issue where I receive an error of "Roon is having trouble verifying your connection with our servers, so metadata improvement has been paused." There's no problem with my connection and the software version of Roon I'm running on my Mac is the latest version, on the latest Macbook Pro, with the latest Mac OS, with the latest version of T-Mobile's 5G Wifi access point. Given the issues I'm having so far and the lack of tech support, I'm pretty happy I only did a month to month membership.
I figured out a fix. I cleared the Roon Image cache and then rebooted again for a third time and restarted my network. This seems to have solved this issue. Why, I have no idea. Finicky software.
Could Roon have been trying to communicate with the servers about an image which no longer existed or which you otherwise fixed by clearing the image cache?
After my suggestion, we’ll have to wait for folk more expert than I am to join in. My supposition was the at the error in communicating may have derived from the fact that Roon locally wanted details/data/metadata on the server from or about an image that no longer existed.
