I keep getting message - too many failures stopping playback with Tidal.

I get the same. From what I can tell the new bug-fix to allow streaming Tidal@24bit is not working.

I can now set Tidal to Max, but I can’t play anything that is 24 bit. I need to go back to High.

Actually, it might be. I have just successfully streamed 24 bit to another endpoint. The one that was failing is temporarily on wifi… that might not cope.

Just an update on this. My current wifi endpoint point blank refuses to play any 24-bit audio (giving the too many failures error mentioned above) but all my wired endpoints work fine. I have set the wifi endpoint to be limited to 16-bit, and now Roon is resampling and playing fine. So the most likely scenario is that there’s just not enough bandwidth to pass the initial RAAT setup, or otherwise there’s some obscure bug with the wifi and 24-bit audio.

Could you please confirm you can use the Tidal web player directly, without any issue?
