It has been some time since this thread has had any activity. Is this issue still ongoing or has this issue been resolved for those affected? I thought that the issue was resolved but I just logged in remotely to my QNAP NAS just to be sure and… it is happening again:

I can double check tonight, connecting internally from my home network but I will probably experience the same thing.

That’s really strange because in May it was working, as visible in my previous post.

So, I’m sure about only one detail: the issue is definitely connected to the fact that I’m not using the standard Admin user but another one with admin privileges.

Can you investigate a bit more to fix it?

Back again with another test:

So, if I check the server installed on the NAS from within my network, it works fine.
If I connect remotely from the Internet (for example, from my office), the issue is still there (check my previous post).

That’s really strange and maybe it is a matter of how QNAP manages remote connections?
Anyway, that is my experience and as long as I can check the server from my own network, that’s fine for me.
