Description of Issue

After information popup with readiness to update from 2.0 1128 to 1148 all remotes (PC, MAC, iOS) has been updated successfully but core in every “click to install” attempt is showing:

“There was an error checking for an update”

Core is stable at the current 2.0 1128 build version.

My troubleshooting:

  • Change to automatic installation,
  • Hardware restart, Software restart, Ethernet reconnection,
  • RoonOS reinstallation via WebUI (current v 1.0 build 227)

I experienced the same problem. Rebooting my Nucleus solved it.

Hey @Damian_Kurgan,

It’s great to see you on the Roon Community! You have my sincerest apologies for the delayed response here, we’ve been dealing with a higher-than-usual volume following our release and we’re working as quickly as we can to get back to everyone.

Following up on this thread, are you still having issues getting your Nucleus to update? Please give your core a hard reboot if so.

I’ll be monitoring this thread for your reply :+1:

Hi

As requested I have restarted again (that was about a fourth hard reset during troubleshooting) and reset DHCP server for mac address. Finally saw the counter on the server webpage changed to “Runtime 5058 days”. After another three or four soft resets server downloaded and updated successfully. Current version is 2.0 build 1169.
