I don’t know, but it’s a possible factor and should be considered. Did it work before on the previous macOS?
Going by forum posts, it seems that Tahoe works for most people, but a few seem to experience issues. (Unclear if those are really caused by Tahoe, but can’t be ruled out, either. It works for me, but I only use the Roon client).
There’s also a bug in CoreAudio (HQPlayer Desktop thread - #1988 by jussi_laako). So, who knows…
