Describe the issue

All was well, Roon playing through all my audio devices, then suddenly I'm getting "Failed to initialize the audio device" for every device I select. I have restarted Roon and my iMac several times, making sure the output device in System Preferences and in Roon match. One of my audio devices disappeared for a while but the restarting found it and it now appears in Roon>Settings>Audio. But it still fails to initialize. Roon is completely dead without being able to initialize any audio devices.
