Your post is pretty cryptic - what does entering commands in MacOS terminal app have to do with Roon support?
That said, you might want to insert a space between cd and /tmp …
Be more generous with info, as the support template nicely asks you to do in order to get any meaningful response…

But your cd command missing a space actually has nothing to do with the title of the topic, “could not create required file”. “cd” changes directory and does not create files.
Why are you trying to create a file, and which one, and does it have anything to do with Roon?
