Fatal Error - could not create required lock file - MacOS 13.5

Roon Core Machine

MacOS 13.5 (MacStudio, M1 Max, 64GB) running Roon server.
Issue is with start up of Roon app to use as client to play on same machine.

I ran into this issue, and ran the terminal commands listed in this post, but it did not help.

I am able to start music by using my iPhone.

I am not sure if this issue is because I closed it and reopened it too fast, or if the MacOS 13.5 update I did today broke it.

I can no longer open Roon - but it did say I was running the latest version as of an hour ago.

Description of Issue

When opening Roon as a client to play music from the Roon Server on the same machine, I get an error “Fatal Error - Could not create required lock file”

OK. Ran the command a few more times to no avail. But then killed Roon again, and ran the terminal commands from the other thread, and rebooted and I am in business.
