File structure for Roon backups

This is not about Roon’s backups, it’s about file system backups and any tool or OS component that needs to scan the file system. It’s simply inefficient and has the potential to slow down file operations on the same volume.

Agreed.

I tell any file indexing services, spotlight for Mac, and I don’t know what the equivalent is in Windows, to ignore the roon database backup folder.

It would be nice to see it rapped in a rar Archive with a par file for recovery to protect from some possible file corruption or at least some sort of checksum.

Anyone know if there is a checksum file that the roon backups utilize?
