Thanks for reaching out to ask us about this issue. Can you please clarify which files you deleted? Were they part of the RoonServer directory, music files, or something else?
When you’re unable to connect to ARC, could you share a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Also, please go to Roon Settings → Roon ARC and let us know if there are any error messages displayed there. That information will help us better understand what’s going on.
Thank you for your patience. Our accounts team has forwarded the screenshot you shared concerning ARC diagnostics.
The specific diagnostic snippet indicates that Roon has not been able to configure a port forwarding connection with your router through which it can reach ARC when your phone is outside the network.
I’d first double-check that UPnP is enabled in your router settings administration page. If that doesn’t help, try entering a manual port forwarding rule in your router settings page (this is usually under a “port forwarding” section). The rule should be TCP and match the port number and IP address listed in the screenshot (ie. the Roon Settings → ARC page).
Concerning the files that you’ve deleted, it sounds like Roon is likely associating the deleted object with the newly added one, leading to indexing errors.
We’ll need a little bit more information to proceed, however. Please share: 1) the name of a few files you’ve deleted and re-added (track titles is fine) 2) a screenshot of your Watched Folders page in Roon (this is under Settings → Storage).
If you have a reliable Backup, you can also try restoring that instead. If the files you deleted have been restored to the same file folder they were previously in, then a restored database should index them without issue.
Please let us know if this helps. We will watch for your response. Thanks!
