Force Roon to Scan for a New Source/Device or increase frequency of scans?

My DAC is Roon Ready and I use it as a server using the LAN input. Sometimes I would like to compare a CD which is on the COAX input to streaming from Roon on the LAN input. Put when I switch from the LAN input in the DAC to COAX Roon loses the connection to the DAC. When I switch back to the LAN input it takes Roon about 30+ seconds to rediscover the DAC. Is there any way to force Roon to scan for new devices or increase the frequency that it automatically scans for new devices?

It’s not Roon, it’s your device that needs to re-establish itself on the network. (Unless you have some sore point in your network setup)

Discovery of RAAT/Roon Ready devices is not instantaneous, but nearly. A ready device will surface in Roon Audio within 5 seconds after the network cable is inserted and a DHCP lease is completed.

You don’t say what device you are utilizing?

It is a Gustard R26 DAC.

Alright, have no experience of that.
But i do have an Auralic Vega G-series where i have the option of turning off streaming/web capabilities while on SPDIF inputs and see the same thing, it takes some 20 seconds to re-initialize the network capabilities when switching back to streaming input/web config.
